About this class

6-Week Hands-On Carving Class Introduce your child to the art of wood whittling in this beginner-friendly course designed for ages 10 and up. Students learn how to safely use carving tools, understand different types of wood, and practice simple carving techniques while creating their own wooden projects. Each session blends safety, guided instruction, and creative freedom. Students start with soap and soft woods to build confidence, then move into shaping real projects as their skills grow. By the end of the course, students will take home several finished pieces and a strong foundation in craftsmanship.
